MA,
No Thanks, I'll Pass.

I agree.. No SSB *OR* No Digital (P25 or D-Star) capability/option? NO THANKS, I'LL PASS.

The price needs to be $149. At this day and age, what advantage does this receiver have over handheld receivers of 5 or even 10 years ago? There's nothing attractive about this radio's features, but it looks nice.

Well said.

HF SSB is something that I would miss as it's included on my all-in-one ICOM R10. Not the best selectivity but its there to use if I ever need it.

Looks like WFM on the RX-7 ends at 770 MHz like my IC-91A.

One thing that gripes me on the ICOM 91A HT is those awful miniature click type buttons that requires it seems like a ton of finger force to actuate. I am thinking the R20 has the easier smoother & larger keys with out the click? Anyone here know??

I may get an R20 one day but will pass on the R7 for now at that price($299).

The previous comment about the R20 having a desktop sounding SSB sounds interesting.
