Some updates on the AORJA page as of yesterday. English manual and Command list are now available. Tetra GSSI option is now available for purchase. They advertise the COSPAS option like on the DV10 but its not in the existing firmware that I can find.
I've been using my DV3 almost daily. The cybersearch is the best upgrade on this radio by far. The EQ function is only available for analog transmissions, not digital. I have no interference on this radio like I do with the DV1. So far its a nice upgrade. I dont see any update on the I/Q or IF output modules.

I bought mine from CQ OHM in Japan through Zenmarket. I have DV1, DV10 5700d, 6000, 8600, and a bunch of Uniden and Whistler radios. So far I am impressed with the interference rejection. I have a strong VHF station that likes to bleed through on the Rail band freqs and it doesnt on this one. AOR just posted a freq loading software tool on their page, so thats the only software that I am aware of at this point. I have some pics and video up on my X account which is also under my callsign. Dont know if it will work with the AR IQ software yet as they havent released the IQ module or the IF module yet.

If I were to consider the DV3, would want that software to go with it. Just looked at zenmarket. Looks like a little over $1300. Will shoot AOR a email to see about that software.

Don’t have a X account. Thanks for the information though.

Just got a reply from AORUSA. Asked about when the DV3 will be available in the USA. They said FCC certification is planned to be completed in may so after that. No on the AR IQ software. Going with the free SDR software from Airspy.

Does the DV3 do FFT Cyberscan like the 5700D? Something like this in a small size would have plenty of applications.

Please tell me the receive audio is better than the DV-1. I tried the DV-1. Twice.
I just couldn't stand to listen to it, especially on AM and SSB.

Sooo... is the DV3 simply an expensive SD receiver? Not really seeing a lot of benefits I could get, that I couldn't get from a good SDR.
And with the DV3 not even producing basic info like talkgroups and UID's on digital, seems they could have easily done a whole lot better.
