New Application for MetroSafe Sites in Oldham County

Looks like they are putting in a simulcast for Oldham County.

Oldham County has been simulcast as part of MetroSafe for a number of years. The frequencies below are those that have been used.

What I suspect may be going on is the same thing that recently happened in Bullitt County, that being the addition of another voice channel to reduce the potential of "bonks" or channel busy signals.

Oldham is adding a new site and will be simulcasting the 2 sites, La Grange (Wave) and the new one in Ballardsville to fill in coverage gaps throughout the county.

Interesting. I imagine that with the growth they have and larger buildings, they might see coverage issues creep up.
