New Bern Fire

I was just wanting to find out how New Bern Fire is dispatched these days.

I know they had at one time a Low Band and UHF frequency. Which have expired.

I also know from reading their web site that they still have something like 4 volunteers on staff.

Just curious as to how the volunteers are alerted for calls

Any help would be appreciated

Just trying to see if they were carrying Motorla or Unications pagers for alerting purposes

They carry Unication G5s during the day and charge them at night for the next shift.
