I copied them today on 167.525 Analog never copied them here before on this freq. I heard them say something about switching or emergency closure on 167.875 or something similar to that ? so maybe they switched freqs? who knows they are all over..

PL ??

Interesting as 167.5250 had been historically Dept of Agriculture / Dept of Interior from the NTIA FOIA file

Unfortunately the OP is normally quite vague with details when creating all of these threads, and has to be repeatedly prompted to provide the basics.

What is "BNL?"
BareNaked Ladies

Google AI Overview returns

BNL can mean Brookhaven National Laboratory, a research facility in Upton, NY, or the Canadian band Barenaked Ladies. Less commonly, it can also refer to the "block nested loop" algorithm in computing or various other niche meanings.

  • Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL):
A U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory founded in 1947, focused on research in fields like nuclear and high-energy physics, materials science, and environmental and energy research.

  • Barenaked Ladies (BNL):
The popular Canadian rock band, often referred to by the acronym for shorthand.

    • Other meanings:
Depending on the context, BNL could also stand for other things, such as in a Jain perspective, where "Bnl" is used to describe principles of non-violence and spiritual purification.

Your post shows how throwing around acronyms on a nationwide forum results in confusion for those who live near the opposite coast. Over the hill from me is the LLNL and LBNL. I had a brother in law whose career was spent at the former and a cousin who spent his career at the latter.

It was like 20 over here signal wise and same chat that was on 167.875 so pretty much think it is BNL being like 4 miles away...maybe using it as a emergency freq, or something IDK? 73,s Marcy
