The November 2024 edition of "Police Aviation News" shows the following for tail number N536PD:

"Westchester County (New York) Police has taken delivery of a new Bell 407GXi N536PD...".

FAA registration search result https://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry/Search/NNumberResult?NNumberTxt=536PD

More research needed?
White Plains, New York is a hop, skip and a jump away! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I saw where Westchester County sold an older Bell 407. I wonder if the tail number from the old Westchester County Bell 407 is being transferred to the new Bell 407.

I’ve seen other tail numbers being used till the FAA updates registration on the tail numbers. I noticed this in Omaha NE and Nashville TN when they received new helicopters.

It will be interesting to see if the helicopter will end up using a number previously issued to CPD for their Bell 206 or Bell 206L. I would be surprised if CPD retains both older Bell helicopters. The number on this new Bell 407 could end up with a completely new tail number but it is not uncommon for an existing tail number to be transferred to a new aircraft.

I thought it was unlikely a helicopter from Westchester New York would be patrolling over Chicago.

It's obvious this was incorrect information posted since this helicopter landed in White Plains, New York just two days ago.

ADS-B exchange is showing a 2024 Bell 407 with tail number N911ZR. The helicopter appeared to take off from the CPD/CFD heliport. Being so close to the tail number of the new Bell 429 (N911ZP) delivered a few months ago I suspect this is a new CPD helicopter. The tail number (N911ZR) still shows the helicopter registered to Bell Textron.

If they are leased then it might remain registered to Bell Textron indefinitely.

The FAA registration for N911ZP for the 2024 Bell 429 helicopter has been updated to show the following owner. Probably depends on how the Federal Government monies were used in a purchase or lease for the three new helicopters CPD is supposed to receive (1 Bell 429 and 2 Bell 407).

They've been identifying as the "new" PH-2 for the past few days on CPD Citywide 1. Radio techs installed the Starcom radios yesterday and were testing across the various channels.

I think the old PH-1 was finally retired as N911ZP has been identified on ADS-B Exchange as PH-1 for the past couple of weeks on both Citywide 1 and Starcom with RID's 47671-47674 confirmed so far.

N911ZQ has been identified as PH-2 on both Citywide 1 and Starcom with RID's 47676-47679 confirmed so far.

N911ZR has been identified as PH-3 on both Citywide 1 and Starcom with RID's 47681-47685 confirmed so far.

I have heard them testing Starcom radios on 47686-47689 recently and ID'd as CPD helicopter (no PH identifier), and wouldn't surprise me if this was the "future" PH-4? If the pattern follows, N911ZS would be next up, but that remains to be seen.
