New data/encryption on COTHEN?

So far I have only heard it being used by CBP assets and wonder if this may be another secure mode in addition to ANDVT and Parkhill.

Which CBP assets have been using this mode?

So far I noticed it with CBP tracking a/c (ALE id's T1A and T6P). For what it's worth, I have also noticed a higher volume of key reloads the past couple days. Don't know if related or not.

That's really a neat find, Brandon. For voice, they really shouldn't be using anything besides ANDVT these days, unless they've got a new voice crypto system for communicating with semi 'allied' nations who we can't give the ANDVT stuff to. In the distant past, they used a Rockwell-Collins system (VP-100+) for that.

I am hearing this on a daily basis now since my original post.
In this clip it's mentioned the aircraft is using incompatible crypto.

That initial crypto in the recording sounds like the old Rockwell-Collins system.
