New Ducky For BR330T

I have been looking for a bit to replace my OEM ducky on my 330

I listen to ~150 and 800

I went to the wiki and researched some of the models anyone have any real world reports on these?


Been looking real hard at the following

Condor
The RS 800
Diamond SRH77CA
Super Scan Duck

The Diamond SRH77 is you want the best performance across all bands and can tolerate the 15' height. The RS800 if most of your listening is in the UHF and 800 bands. I have no experience with the other two brands.

I have noticed Diamond has a couple other models also like the SRH 940,789 and 999 would the 77CA be the pick of the bunch?

The 77CA is best for between 140 and 500 MHz it does well below 140 but it's not great above 500. The RS 800 is a good antenna for 800 MHz but poor below.

Well I knew I would have to compromise in wanting an antenna to do both ~150 and 800 I am just looking for the best compromise..

The RS800 goes on ALL of my HH scanners. All in all its a pretty decent all around antenna.
