I took all three exams last Monday and got my callsign yesterday. =)

I forgot does RR.com put your upgrade in or do YOU have notify them? I just looked on FCC.com and they have me down as General class now. I only wish I could now go get a HF rig.

Congratulations! There aren't many who do that in one shot. I think mostly because people don't prepare for more than one 'class' at a time. I can say I -almost- did it. But that 'almost' took several more tries to get that @#$ Extra! I think it was worth it. Now you just have to have fun with it.

(And just think, if you ever get a ride on the space shuttle you won't have to apply for a waiver to operate in space! I'm still waiting on my ride offer...)

Wow! That's something, taking and passing all three exams at once. Congrats and welcome to the hobby!

If you take and pass your Tech, that is good. If you then take your General and pass it, that is great. If you then take your Extra and pass that -- that is amazing. I once told someone who (also took all three and passed) that if you take the Tech and pass it, take the General, it you pass that take the Extra, if you pass that -- faint. Not long ago at our Hamfest we had someone who took and passed all three. Not long ago we had a guy at out VE testing who passed both his Tech and General, and only missed the Extra by two or three (I think, I was one who graded the Extra but have forgotten). But Congratulations are in order, you did great -- now just GOTA -- Get On The Air.

Well, I attended my first Hamfest today and won the grand prize raffle, an Alinco DX-SR8T. Now I just have to get an antenna put up.
