New Fairchild AFB LMR system

Anyone know if this is/will be plain old trunked or if it is digital and/or encrypted?

I'm curious myself. I have never even tried to pick up Fairchild until I came across your post, which sparked my interest. So I came across a bunch of freqs and programmed them in. I just started listening yesterday, but it sounds as though it is already encrypted? I'm a newbie to scanning and a newbie to Mil, so you'll have to pardon me. Are you able to pick up transmissions that are not encrypted? I have picked up some DEA transmissions lately as well, which all seem to be encrypted. I imagine at one time, one would have picked up some very interesting traffic.

Are there any digital frequencies in our area yet? There is not much in the way of information in the database here on Spokane County.

If anyone is on trunking out there, I have no idea who it is. Maintenanace and Security Forces are still on conventional, which is what I usually listen to, in addition to the aircraft. If you want the list of freqs I have for out there, let me know.

Yes..

I would be very interested in that list of freqs you have. I have quite a few plugged in myself...but I am not picking up hardly anything. Nothing that is not scrambled. I got the one transmission I mentioned prior and that is it. I monitor for at least two hours a day on average. Maybe I'm just listening at the wrong times :?:

Update...picking up transmissions now. Must have been listening at the wrong times.

Would I be able to get those frequencies from you? I'll be out that way in Mid April and would love to have them.
