I don't think I want to hear from a guy who believes handling billions to a weirdo with 3 citizenships is somehow a great idea

for everyone that are making comments such as this why is it about politics the original title of the thread wasn't new fcc chairman pick announced and give everyone your political opinion. we need to actually give people the benefit of the doubt to see if they do something good even though they don't align with our personal political beliefs. fyi I'm not specifically calling anyone out but just making a statement

They are just political appointees. The staff of the FCC handles all of the technical stuff. As long as the FCC Chairman can hear his local AM radio talk show host he is happy! ;-)

The NAB / national association of advertisers, oops I mean broadcasters, is pushing congress to mandate (or should that be person ate?) AM radio in all vehicles. I read Tesla does not install them due to RFI problems.

The NAB feels someone's safety could be jeopardized if they miss an emergency broadcast in between commercials.

Switching to serious mode which is not normal for me, this series of videos on how the public reacts to emergency messages is very interesting.
