New Firmware 1.38 for R8600

Hello has anyone installed the new 1.38 Firmware?

Any apparent changes that you may have noticed?

My 8600 14 is currently on 1.36 and I tend to not update firmware unless a compelling change.

Source? I see a non-USA version for 1.38, but the Icom America site is still showing 1.37, which I didn't know existed either. Still looking but that's what I observe thus far.

I just updated my 04 version with it. It went smooth. Ill report back any bugs I find.

Changes from Version 1.37:

That means that newer versions of the radio had some component changes, probably due to a specific chip(s) no longer being available or updated, the new firmware accounts for it. While these type of updates are designed to work on previous versions of the radio as well, they do not add any new functionality or performance, the new firmware merely makes the radio work with the new parts.
