Congratulations!!! I am a newbie too, passed my Tech 3 weeks or so ago. Just for an FYI, it took 8 days for my call sign to show up in the database. Some say the FCC will email you when they issue your call sign, I never got an email though, just kept checking and on day 8 it was there!

The FCC doesn't even send out paper licenses anymore. I doubt they're e-mailing people to tell them their call sign is active.
