I passed my Technician Class exam today. I took the general class as well, even though I had not studied for it and got 18 right. I am just glad I got the tech level. I had 33 out of 35 on that. Hope to meet some of you on the air sometime! Let me know if anyone is from the Capital region of New York and maybe we can make a contact some time.

Thats cool, congrats!
Thank you.
Good job, Alex!

Time to start prepping for the General exam! :)
Thanks.
I plan to start fairly soon! I figured I would get a little time on the air first then start working towards it. I've had my radio on like non-stop just listening to local 2M repeaters, just waiting for my callsign to show up on the ULS. Looking forward to making my first contact!
Congrats!
Thank you.

Congrats! I hope the hobby will be as good to you as it has been
to me over the years...I would not be lucky enough to be in my current
career without my Amateur Ham License..it gave me the background to
be able to pass my GROL which allowed me to succeed in my current
job as a Radio System Engineer! :)
Congrats again!
