New Haven Public Works

does anybody have a trouble picking up New Haven Public Works? I have them in my radio and I never hear them when I'm down there. I have them set up as a trunk system. I also have it set up as conventional and either way I never picked them up. I do know they are DMR which I have DMR in my radio as well.

They're likely using LRRP, which causes most scanners to show the system as being Capacity Plus, and fools users into thinking it's trunked.

However you can still program it as a Single Frequency Trunk, and it will work.

Last time I was there, I saw that CAP show up, and assumed the original submitter was correct that it was CAP. It's probably just LRRP.

Just setup a SFT, with the TG 101, and the CC of 9, you'll likely hear them if they are active.

Good to know that's confirmed. What is in the DB for the TG Info is correct as I've monitored it first hand.
