So I was setting up my BCD160DN, and I noticed that NCC Public Works has an updated license with a few more frequencies that are not listed in the DB:

WQDE358: 154.665; 154.695; 154.935; 156.165; 159.135

I've only picked up traffic on 154.935 and it's showing DMR with a color code of 9. It's definitely public works as they do mention county properties for some of their traffic. It's something to keep an eye before I send a submission as I thought they were only conventional frequencies. Thanks!

So far, every location that they have mentioned is in NCC.

Also, they're only entity licensed to that frequency on the FCC database since at least 2000. Back in the early 2000s, it was listed on here as NCC Public Works with 532 DPL. I have no recordings for the old channel.

The only thing that doesn't line up, is they're not licensed for DMR.

I would say that it's a pretty safe submission.

My above post was for 154.695 MHz.

I'm going to plug the rest in and see what I get. I'm in Delaware County, so I'm not sure how well I'm going to do.

This is the new FCC license info:

It looks like they combined everything into the new license.

This is the search results from the FCC for the frequency 154.695 in Delaware.

It appears that the last time that the State of Delaware (counting Delaware Division of Communications) was in 2014. It seemed to have overlapped with NCC from around 2005 to 2014.

The only current active license appears to be WQDE358, for NCC.

But like I said, I don't live there and I'm only reporting what I'm hearing.

Once I go through more recordings, I'll post what I find for the other freqencies.

Good morning!

I did get a hit on 156.150 this morning, but it was in analog. I don’t listen to NCC Public Works very much, but I’m curious as to why 154.935 is DMR 🤔

Update from Recordings:

1/30 07:10 to 1/31 14:08

154.695 MHz DMR - 164 recordings

SL 1 CC 9 TGID 1 - 108 recordings

Public Works, all locations are in NCC

RID 1634 - Base
RIDs: 4377, 4440, 4449, 4457-4489, 4600-4840

SL 2 CC 9 TGID 3 - 56 recordings

Public Works, all locations in NCC, but the difference is that they are mostly in residential developments (Brandywine Forge, LLangollen Estates, Stonefield, etc.), the airport, United Electric and something called MOT (Maintenance of Traffic??).

RID 1783 - Base
RIDs: 4452, 4494, 4844-4850

Common:

All users use 10 Codes:
10-4 - Ok, complete
10-7 - Out of service
10-8 - Enroute
"Lunch" is in plainspeak

I had no recordings for the other frequencies in the license, however, I was only searching DMR only. I will now lock out 154.695 since we have that knocked out and switch the other frequencies to analog search, as well.

If anyone is objecting to locking out 154.695. please let me know.

As I've said before, I live in Delco, so I'm not sure if I'm receiving everything available on those frequencies and don't know if anyone closer has any better results.

I guess SL 2 CC 9 TGID 3 can be submitted. I'm guessing as a "Channel 2". I don't have the specific channel name yet.

Hope this helps.

Today 2/2/26 recordings:

156.165 MHz analog DCS 532 - 5 recordings 0:26 total - quite a bit of static, probably due to my distance from them

Talked about using a "root cutter". Sewer Dept. possibly?

159.135 MHz analog, 1 recording 0:02 total - no tone, static only

Today 2/3/26 recordings:

156.165 MHz DCS 532 - 34 recordings 2:39 total - about the same amount of static as yesterday

I am 15 miles in a straight line to the closest tower at Talley Yard

"4465 enroute to Hockessin library"

Same 10 codes as used in the DMR transmissions

I think we've identified what's in use, so unless anyone has an objection, I'm going to call it.

On to the next quest...
