New notifications

Someone sent me a friend request, I accepted but whenever I log i-nt it's still saying I have one new notification. I tried accepting it again but nothing seems to work

Did you make sure the Box was Checked for the One you want to Accept or Reject ?
It's a Common mistake,that I've done in the past, no checking the specific Icon

yes i double checked and it's marked
