new nypd precinct

i heard from wikipedia that theres going to be a new precinct (121) on staten island and there rebuilding the 120 in a new location so does anyone know where the new bulidings will be and the radio freqs that are going to be built? and does anyone know if this is true or not?

Nothing is set in stone yet. The 121 pct design was accepted but there is no guarantee they will build it. The planned location for the 121 is Forest Ave & Richmond Ave and it will take some sectors from the 120 & 122 pct satellite.

The 120 pct will have a new building built in Stapleton and will move there, the building they are in now will not be touched as it is a city landmark.

If they were smart they would split Zone 35 into two separate zones. Trying to call central is a nightmare with all the radio traffic on one zone and the new precinct will only make things worse.
