Well, It looks like the towns of West New York and Guttenberg will be P-25 pretty soon. I observed them using the xts2500 potables. Yesterday I heard P-25 ENC on the WNY pd channel 2. They were testing their units in direct but itwas encrypted so I do not know what traffic was passed. I really hope that they don't encrypt everything like Kearny did. I personally like to know what's going on around where I live. Also I a suspect that they are looking for happens to be in my area I could simply call them (via landline) and give them a heads up where he's at. If anyone has more info on a new system being installed please let us know. Thanks.
