I'm back at the microphone putting the finishing touches on the May broadcast of VOSR International, The Voice of Shortwave Radio. It will first air on Saturday May 3rd at 12am Eastern Time on WRMI on 9455 kHz.

The new computer is so much nicer and makes things go so much faster. It's going so well, I am going to do a couple segments for the June broadcast so I'm not rushed from when we return from our Kauai trip.🤙🏻

Time to relax a bit. The May broadcast is complete and will be uploaded to the Que this weekend for the May 3rd transmission. 🤙🏻

The new computer sure helps. It saves so much time. I even recorded a couple segments for future shows. 👍🏻

Saturday May 3rd at 12 am Eastern Time on WRMI 9455 kHz. That's Saturday at 0400 utc.

I've got the frequency set, getting s5-s7 with Brother Stair on right now. Looking forward to the show!
That's awesome, Thanks for tuning in!!!🤙🏻

Not much here in Hawaii. Doesn't sound like conditions are great tonight but we'll see.

I hope you enjoy the broadcast. 🤙🏻

Minor G-1 storm ongoing, Kp=5. 9455 usually isn't this good for me at this time of night. At the same time, WWCR is degraded for me, with a mixed bag on others. Hopefully it'll stay somewhat quiet tonight and I can catch RNZI later.

I'm actually on 17675 kHz checking out RNZ right now. Lol

I saw the Kp was 5. That's the way it goes sometimes. The only other thing I'm picking up is the 40m net of Hawaii Ham Operators. 🤙🏻

It did come in pretty well here in Hawaii at about 15 minutes in. I was able to listen on the Grundig then all the way to the end. Not bad.🤙🏻

I had good reception for just under 20 minutes. Started getting heavy fading and lots of QRN at the bottom of the hour. Never got it back. I'll have to catch a rebroadcast.

In other news, WWCR 4840 went off-air about one minute into VORW; came back on-air just as the music requests began. Not the best night for HF at my QTH. VHF had some nice enhancement through the region.

Have a great weekend, catch you next time.

VOSR International has some exciting news!!

Beginning June 7th at 0300 UTC on 9455 kHz, we will now be transmitting a new broadcast every other week. So each show will only have one rebroadcast. Our new timeslot at 0300 UTC helped make this possible.

And now our second announcement!

VOSR International will start broadcasting monthly to Europe starting Saturday at 2300 UTC on June 7th on 15770 kHz. There will be rebroadcasts every Saturday until the next month's new broadcast. We started the broadcast as a monthly on 9455 kHz and If there is a good response we will make this an every other week also.

15770 kHz is also transmitted through WRMi in Okeechobee Florida so listeners on the East Coast of the US should be able to pick it up. So you will have two options on where and when to pickup thr show.
