Mike, thanks for the tip. I haven't checked the Scanstar site in ages. I used to use this software religiously, going back to when it was DOS and supported my PRO-2005 with the add-in board. But somewhere along the way, they didn't come out with updates for new models and split up the all-in-one software for different models. This looks like an attempt to support and all-in-one for at least the trunking radios.

Yeah, but the price is just a bit out of my budget for now. Besides, I'd wait a little while; new software almost always has glitches.

The only thing I'm not fond of with their software is that they write audio files with a date/time stamp embedded in the coding. This makes the file unusuable by standard WAV players unless you play it in their software then re-record it. Ugghhh...that's so backward....

Whoops...there it is. The first bug. I just gave the demo a try and it turned off the P25 card after *reading* the first bank. Took me a few minutes to realize this...Very frustrating. How fast can I uninstall this....
