Recently moved up to Aroostook County*, and just getting started on building my local frequency database. Figured I would start passing along what I am finding that might not have been published in this forum so far.

451.20000 & 456.20000…repeater control links?
Repeater is down in Washington County, but can hear it here very good.

WPKH701 - DEAD RIVER COMPANY (propane company)
43.36000 (haven’t caught the tone yet)
47.64000 (haven’t caught the tone yet)
Heard some trucks chatting simplex nearby.

WNHE426…..463.850/468.850… repeater on Houlton Road in Presque Isle
WNHR775…..463.725/468.725… repeater on Charette Hill in Fort Kent

All are narrowband FM


*[Came up to Houlton for my oldest Niece’s wedding in 2004, and fell in love with the area. Retired, I purchased a large parcel of land in August, and only now finally getting my tower and antennas up before winter.]

Welcome to the area. I'm up in Caswell, near Van Buren and the border.

Go look for the Fort Fairfield Journal online - get in touch with the publisher - see if he has any copies of his scanner guide for the area left for sale.

It's a very different world up here. Of course, down in Tropical Houlton it may not be quite so much so...
