I think I found a new SMR service in Kern county. I was running my 396 in control channel trunking during a previous trip on I-5 and found several 'new' systems.. During this trip, I entered the control channels into systems and was 'searching' them to get more information.

The initial control channel I found was 860.5875. It was still there on 7/7/2007. As folks were using the system, I was writing down the voice channels. For some reason, these frequencies are not listed in the rr.com fcc database. They _are_ on the FCC site. They are radio service code YX, so not sure if this is part of the problem.

If a frequency below has 'new' listed next to it, it means that I did not monitor it and that it was included here because it came up as part of the license search.

SysID: 0510
control Channel: 860.5875 (monitored 7/7/2007)

And an interesting coverage map here:

one final note, the comms I monitored appeared to be trucking or delivery services...

YX is among many radio service codes not available in RR's FCC database. Some of the others you won't find on RR are YK, AF and auctioned licenses.
