any info on the sensitivity on VHF analog? I have one dept I have issues getting even with a VHF yagi antenna on the roof. Would be nice to have it come in better.

Since VHF analog signals are scarce in my area, I’d rather not speculate.

A good standby is the local NOAA weather stations.
Agreed, I uploaded a video for the 100 & 150 tuned to VHF NOAA Carey, Ohio approximately 35 miles away. I had to do separate videos as I switched out the antenna, used the same antenna and scanners (same settings) were in the same spot when recording.

By no means a scientific test but there is a HUGE difference to my ears.

NOAA Carey Ohio, 150 & 100

That's an improvement! Much clearer! (And stronger!)

Yup that is a huge difference. I will be getting one when the are released. Hope it fixes my issue. the VHF signal I am attempting to get is miles south. I can pick it up but the static is usually so bad it is hard to hear the voice. I even have a Custom made 155 mhz Yagi antenna on my roof pointed south. So the infamous question remains...... when and how much???? Hopefully it is released next month. Uniden would be smart to get this out soon for christmas

Just my advice, but hopefully, global (and other) filters aren't disposed of entirely, as one of the strengths of the SDS system is its use of filters to improve signal, regardless of interference coming from internal and external conditions, although it seems the IF/RF reconfiguration is a significant improvement! Just having too much experience with radios over the decades has shown that the lack of filters has produced enough birdies to be annoying, no matter hardware or software-defined.

That said....

I hope there'll be trade-up offers when the 150 comes out, and hopefully, including some mechanism for including certain upgrade keys! Unfortunately, since my 100 is second-hand, I wasn't given the upgrade keys that were already purchased by the previous owner (all of them, except for waterfall, as that I purchased, myself), so I might be stuck with buying new upgrades, but nevertheless, if some trade-in system is put in place for the first year (only, for obvious reasons) for SDS100 owners to upgrade to the SDS150, I'd think many might happily trade up for a discount offer. But then again, that's just me and my "wishful thinking" cap on......

Regarding the Wi-Fi Bluetooth Combo Module:

Can the Bluetooth be used for reading & writing the favorites and profile? It seems to me a Bluetooth Mode will be needed like the Mass Storage Mode and FTP Mode (on the SDS200).

Will the Wi-Fi be implemented and if so, will there be a FTP Mode like the SDS200?

[edit} Will Bluetooth output the protocol data such as STS, GLG, XML?

I'd be more interested in direct pairing of headphones & speakers, not requiring the app, which the app handles extended functionality. (FL, FW & DB management, settings, etc.)

Other people may have different interests, including me. Replying wasn't needed since you don't know the answers.

That was a great comparison on VHF high. At that was 35miles away? Holy crap. I can just barely receive reception from a railroad yard about two miles away.
