New voice on WeatherRadio Canada........

I know there was some talk about discontinuing the service in some areas, but as I am listening right now, the voice has changed..almost sounds similar to the NWS south of the border...

Maybe this is hope they will keep the service....

It's the government, they probably just upgraded to Windows 7.

They’ve been swapping equipment out over the past few months.

They switched from using AVIPADS to I-Notify software. They did a transmitter upgrade for the station closest to me in March 2021 (I think) and they switched on September 9th, 2021 somewhere around 3 pm or after. I have a video of the station ID broadcast of both the old and the new here -
