Received a submission that there is a new site in the Big Horn National Forest called Black Mountain, presumably on top of Black Mountain. No freq or other information was given. I've listed it in the RRDB as site 999 for now, so if anyone is in the area and can search for it, I'll update the information when its received.

I concur with ND5Y. Black Mtn was a proposed site for wyolink to become active this summer. I just happened to check here today for any updates about it as I can see the site from my place in Lincoln Cty and have visited it on many occasions. I'll scan for it and see if there's anything transmitting yet.
Regards
Jim

I don't know if the site really exists, all I did was find a trunked license for the state of WY with a location near Black Mountain ID. They also have several other licenses that are not in the datase.

The site is Black Mtn, ID, in Bonneville County. If you look through the info on WYOLINK through the State of Wyoming you'll find where it was supposed to come online this summer. Still haven't had a chance to scan for it, trying to remember how to force a control channel search on the 996xt :-/

OK. Black Mountain is up and running, I receive a control channel on 169.7875 with appropriate traffic. The FCC location linked by ND5Y is correct.

Hope this helps. I'm excited to have this one up and running. I can copy it with no antenna... 200 watt blowtorch of data!

For some reason I was thinking of the other site outside of Pocatello? that covered the lower corner of Wyoming. I'll update the GPS information and the callsign - and whoever comes up with the voice channels for the site please submit them via the "Submit information" tab under the wyolink system for proper credit. I'll add in the CC and update now.

Still need the site ID and RFSS if anyone is running Unitrunker

Thanks

Updated - added in voice channels submitted by another user but did not have any alternate control channel/nac/site ID information, etc.

I left the default 25 mile radius around the site. Please let us know if a more easterly range is needed, as I am sure its set for more of a Wyoming than Idaho coverage.

Black Mtn is site 112 from Pro96com based on info from Snow King site. Unfortunately I can't receive Black Mtn from my present location near Jackson, WY, but should have info on Tuesday.
