Yaesu: New Yaesu website

Looks like Yaesu revamped their website and "cleaned up" the products pages to only reflect current (in production) models. If one wants to get support for discontinued products (even recent ones like the FTM-200/300/FTM-6000, etc) one must register for an account, select the products and "register" them to their Yaesu account, and then downloads such as software, firmware, manuals, etc will be available.

You don't have to register to see information and files for "legacy" Yaesu products:
I got there by clicking on Amateur Radio from the main page, then clicking on Legacy Products.

I can live with a quirky website. I can't live with half engineered radios like the FTX-1 that kind of has APRS reception, but lacks the ability to receive and log stations, much less beacon on demand.
