hi, i listen to military aircraft mostly, and as bad as it sounds, i have a GRE psr 295, rigged to an indoor discone. how about yourself? i cant wait till i can afford a real rig.

I'm using a RadioShack Pro 2096 as trunktracking in both analog and digital modes is the norm in Toronto,Canada. Use to use an all-band rooftop antenna, but it is rather old and in need of some maintenance. For the winter, I will bear with a telescopic antenna.

I read some glowing reviews about your GRE 295, it seems as if it is quite the performer in the Mil Air band. Do not sell yourself short!

hey thanks for the welcome guys. yea it isnt too bad really, i do get quite alot of traffic, mainly F15s. its just wierd having a handheld rigged to a discone lol. i was thinking of saving for a uniden bearcat, shall have to wait and see. chris
