Now that I have a BCDx36HP, I am trying to figure out what's the deal with Newcastle's police and fire channels. I have successfully programmed El Reno and Blanchards DMR channels but not having any luck with Newcastle. I've researched through the ULS and found that there are 2 frees for PD; 155.6175 and 159.2175, and one channel for fire; 154.31. The DigitalFrequencySearch web page lists nothing for the City of Newcastle. So where and what are they?!

BTW, all the emission designator a were for analog transmissions so I don't know what to look for

Do I need to program this as a mototrbo system? There's only one TG listed, the other "DMR's" have no info. Also, does El Reno need to be setup as one, as well. Radioreference has a little more info for them. How would I figure out the other talk groups for Newcastle?

You'll need to put those freqs in Conventional Mode not mototrbo system. When you put them in CONV mode have it do a digital search.

I've got them in as a Conventional as well as a One Freq Trunk (2 different systems). I've not seen anything on the 1FT that leads me to believe they are doing anything fancy on the system. Conventional should actually be fine.
