Newnan PD now on Warrs

Yesterday Newnan Pd started using Warrs on TG 15401.
I am only hearing them on the 700Mhz towers. I hear Coweta County on 700 and 800 MHz towers.
I will post more info if I find any.

I have a pro 106 scanner and have the warrs system entered for the coweta co so. What do I have to do to get newnan pd. I see you wrote 1540 in there but how do enter that? or is it all ready there?

I have a wild card setup so when a new talkgroup pops up I hear it and save it.
Or you can enter 15401 talk group. I use software to program mine.

I think Newnan FIre is using 15402 now as well. According to the database that's a Newnan pd frequency but I'm hearing mostly fire traffic on it.

I figured it out. You just edit the tgrp and add the radio id number as 15401 then set your alpha tag and LEDs or what ever. Coming through loud and clear.

Yes. Newnan pd is 15401 and Newnan fd is 15402. Newnan fire at this time has no tac channels so all traffic goes through 15402.

Looks like NPD is using 15401 as the main channel and 15403 as a TAC channel. NFD is only using 15402.

15403 is Grantville PD Primary.

Thanks for catching that, DC. You are correct. I had duplicate channels.

I'll hook up the scanner to the computer this weekend and see if any more groups have been added by wildcard. I do not have much time during the week. Work getting in the way of my scanner hobby.
