NHP Northern Command - Bowers?

I know the boundary between NHP "Reno 1 - Reno" and "Reno 2 - Carson City" frequencies are near Bowers on 395, but when the units announce they are switching to Bowers, are they switching to Reno 2 from Reno 1, or vice versa?

The units are not switching to Bowers, they are switching channels at Bowers. Freq. 1 or 2 depending on direction of travel.

They do the same on I80 around Mustang (Exit 23) also.

They go to Humboldt or Elko TG at that point? I thought it was further East...

Mustang + RN 1 to RN 2 and vice versa. RN 2 is east of Sparks.

IIRC they switch at Lovelock or a bit east of there. Could be wrong; been a while since I've passed thru there..
