Nice band opening tonight...

I noticed my BCT15 kept hanging up on 142.9050 tonight (which is a voice channel on the Byron tower) with what sounded like control channel data. Sure enough, I was picking up site 17 (Essex). So I got to searching a little and holy smokes the sites are pouring in tonight. First pass thru I was able to pull in:

142.2600 - 21 Woodstock
142.3200 - 04 Listowel
142.2450 - 22 Aylmer
142.2300 - 14 Wallaceburg (New site!)
143.1450 - 33 Stratford
143.0700 - 36 Wingham
142.9650 - 25 Goderich
142.9050 - 17 Essex
142.7100 - 31 Sarnia
142.6650 - 18 Byron
142.6350 - 19 Wardsville
142.5900 - 27 Ipperwash
142.5150 - 16 Chatham

Haven't tried any other bands yet, but I've notice a fair increase in US traffic in the 150mhz range.

Yep, I noticed the last couple of days increased traffic from Western NY State coming in again. Nothing today,but definitely the last 2 nights have been pretty good.

I even pulled in Niagara Co. again.

Band is smokin hot tonight in the 800mhz range. I'm pulling in control channels from all over Indiana, Michigan and Ohio thru the 850's and 860's.
