NJ Transit Police code: "...an O-2 male"

Listening to a lot of NJ Transit Police chatter as they look for someone who reportedly brandished a handgun on the track one platform at Newark's Penn Station. They keep advising officers that the suspect is "an O-2 male."

Anyone know what the deal is with that (is it race?).

Yes, nearly positive. They repeated that description 2-3 additional times as the event played out...

This was discussed a while back on this thread. Not sure about the particulars on numbering for NJ Transit but yes, has to do with race....
