North East Jersey members,

Looks like Passaic County ARES/RACES repeater NJ2PC on 440.950 has gone digital - DMR? Was analog with a PL 97.4. Went digital sometime over the last few months.
I getting occasional digital polling burst but have been unable to determine CC, TS or TGs.
(But just started searching only a few minutes ago and therefore it's too early)
Need some help on this. Is the repeater stand alone or now part of a network I.e. DMR MARC or Brandmeister or both? TS, CC and TG also....

Thanks in advance.

A little off topic, but a new analog VHF repeater has been put in place on Garrett Mountain.

Frequency is 146.61 down -0.6. PL is 141.3. Repeater is a Yaesu DRX-1 currently running only analog, but there's a chance of it going System Fusion in the near future.

Allen,

This was the old W2FCL Repeater located at the time in West Paterson now Woodland Park. In the late 80's had the capacity to link to the Clifton OEM KB2N 220 Repeater on 224.360.

NJ2PC repeater was my old repeater under then WX2KEN when it was installed at it's current site in 2006 as part of PC ARES RACES. Control of the repeater was turned over to Passaic County ARES/RACES in late 2008 with the NJ2PC (Club Call). It has lasted this long as an analog repeater with many parts and duplex-er changes over the past years. It was good to see the site is still used and the coordinated frequency pair (I coordinated the current pair with Metro Cor back in 2005-6) has evolved into a DMR and linked Repeater.

PM me for further to continue this exchange if you like...

Thanks and 73
