Greetings,
I'm have created an FMP24 scan list file, but when i run the scan, DSD+ stops on the frequncies, but I hear no audio. Nor do i see anything on the event log or the channel activity

this is my scan list

147.180 fm BW=12.5 Delay=3 Madera Cnty. Amateur Club
147.300 fm BW=12.5 DELAY=3 HAM
147.060 fm BW=12.5 DELAY=3 HAM
442.2375 dmr BW=7.6 DELAY=4 HAM
443.500 fm BW=12.5 DELAY=3 HAM
443.500 P25 BW=9.5

Now if I run a trunk system (using the "v" switch) I see activity and I get audio. obviously, I'm doing something wrong with scan.

ok, got the audio and scanning working, but is there any way to see what the scanner has stopped on the
event Log"?

Yes, it should show something like this, if you have the licensing .csv file:

Thanks for the reply, I should have prefaced my question better, but for analog signals. No way to see who's talking via event log or channel activity

I do not use the fcc file so in that case it will display what ever Is labeled for each freq in the scanlist file. If no label then it would just show the freq.

Dave, CanesFar95
again, I have analog frequencies in my FMP24 scan list, which do not show up in the event or activity. I know that digital signals do show up and I have added name tags to those analog frequencies.
If you are seeing the analog signals show up in the event or activity logs, please show your scan list.

It's all outlined in the scanlist examples towards the end. Add alpha tags to the freqs your scanning and when it lands on an active freq in your scanlist, analog and or digital , it will display the tag.

It shows in the same window that shows the freqs it’s scanning when using the scan feature, and does not show in the console log window.

I thought it was the opposite. Your scanlist alias is output to the console window, not the event log.

Yes, but that is not in the notes from DSD+ Fastlane. Maybe a future update? Thanks for confirming

Its not in notes.txt, but it’s explained in the fmp24.scanlist for longtime. At least a few years. I’ll post a scan list tonight showing it working

Anything received that’s in the scanlist with an alpha tag shows in the terminal window regardless less if analog, digital or trunked. I have some nxdn in my scan list and it displays the tag I set in the list. Is OP using fmp24 or Fmpa?

No need Dave, I obviously missed that.

I'm using FMP24

Thanks for the help

Terminal window = console window.

Ok, so here's an example using an analog fire tone-out/robodisptacher frequency of 154.370 MHz with a scanlist alias of "Manatee County Fire". This is what I get with an RTL-SDR dongle on FMP24 stopped on an analog frequency:

1722203941429.png

1722203956562.png

(The extra rows in green are .csv FCC licensing data.)

Doing the same thing with an Airspy on FMPA:

1722204106725.png

1722204115484.png

1722204125631.png

Notice how on the Airspy, the bandwidth (BW) setting is not obeyed, the scanlist alias does not show in the console window, and the .csv FCC licensing data is not shown in the Event Log (but it is shown in the console window).

The scan delay also does not work on Airspy. It resumes scanning immediately. (n)
