ProScan: no audio

I had to reinstall windows 11 home and I tried to get Proscan to work and now I have no audio,
436 scanner
Proscan 24.9

I have the scanner and proscan connected to my desktop with a 1/8 jack and the audio bar in Proscan is stuck like it's frozen.
tried all the audio setups and nothing works, I have been using proscan for years and have had no issues.
Any ideas ??

Please disregard this post, I fixed the problem by using one of my old images of my hard drive.
