I ran a conventional search over night 154-170. Had 113 hits. When I try to play the 30 sec audio a dialogue box pops up and says Replay on top and No Recording on the bottom....and it plays nothing. It shows the little speaker
Any ideas?
Do have batteries in the scanner? If no batteries, just using external power, it will not record anything.
If, as part of your search, you had enabled ‘recording’ by pressing the Record (on the display screen)) to enable Record (and selected the “Start Recording” to confirm you wanted to do that), you would not access any recorded audio by pressing the ‘Replay’ on the display screen. Instead, press Menu
Then, at the next screen, press “Advanced Menu”
At the next screen, press the ‘down arrow’ on the lower right side of the menu to get to the second page.
Then, on that second page, select ‘Replay Options’
On the next screen, you’ll have the option to see how long a replay window is in place. Tap the time (the number of seconds) to cycle through lengths of 30 seconds to 240 seconds, in increments of 30.
Below the replay length setting, you’ll see “Review Recordings”. Select that to review audio saved by using the recording session.
