does anyone have freqs. for amtrak trans that run from washington DC to Boston?

160.92 is used on the Springfield Line (New Haven to Springfield) and the Shoreline (New Haven to Boston ish).

New Haven to NYC is Metro North. I'd have to dig up the freq for that one though.

This question is slightly off topic:

What frequency does Amtrak use south of Washington, D.C. towards Alexandria and Richmond, VA? I'll try to listen to them when I'm in Alexandria again.

I can't hear 160.920 because I am too far south. lol

They operate on CSX freq's. Your best bet is to enter the "ex-RF&P" channels. I was recently down there last week and will be again on the 16thish.

Later tonight I will post the freq's that I use.

Currently there is a MOW curfew in effect during the day between Rocky Mount NC and Richmond, so you will see very little between those two spots, and limited running between DC and Richmond. Around 4pm, expect to see a whole bunch of trains running from 4pm to 6am until the maintence people start work again.

I remember now. Thanks for reminding me. I can hear 160.320 and 160.350 in Annandale. I heard a few words on 160.920 a few months ago.
