This is as good of place as any to ask. Anything in particular you are looking for? Or just help in general.... Lots of helpful people on here if you let us know what you need. Are you programming by hand or via software?

i have some software but i dont know what to do with it or even programm by hand i think i can programm by hand if i was just using the scanner without the apco card. its seting the programming up with the card installed i don,t have a clue about.i have all the freq. numbers i think but the card i just purchased is the problem . do i just install the card and programm the scanner the same way i do without the card. thats why i,de like to find a local user to hook up with to get some pointers.

Hi, I live just to the east of you in Burlington.
Welcome to rr.com.

Program away, dont worry about the card.

I assume you will want to program the Hamilton Public safety system and perhaps the Charlton Street site of the Bell Fleetnet system.

Once you get the hang of it everything will fall into place. If you want you can email me and I will try to remember what it is like to program your radio. I am pretty sure that there are members on here that can help out as well.

I am not sure but there might be a try-out version of ARC software out there. As long as you have the programming cable you can type up files (similiar to Excel files) and you will be set.
