George, looks great and very professional.

However, in the interest of disclosure, would you care to comment on this below?

http://forums.radioreference.com/tavern-archives/77649-george-fetter-arrested-milaircomms.html

I'm just curious as to how this turned out? Seriously, I'd like to hear your side of this story, in the interest of making sure that the RadioReference community is protected.

You don't want me here, then delete my account, its not like I live on this site. You wanna dig up crap then fine, I'm sure it will bring more traffic to your site.

I really expected more professionalism from you.

Next, you have pretend attorney's on here and other sites who think they know how to read legal documents, when if fact they don't. If you would have read all the filed documents you too should have seen the "guilty" box was NOT checked.

This website has facilitated the spread of many untrue statements, and yes, I do know those involved who live being fake names, so Mr. Blanton, the ball is in your court as I have nothing to loose!

I can not comment more on this issue due to several law suits I have filed against several people relating to this issue. 1 happens to be a police chief who "left" the area and is now down in your neck of the woods.

You find 1 REAL person who REALLY lost a single penny in dealing with me, then you can comment! I think an OVER 33,000 positive eBay feedback rating speaks pretty darn loud, now doesn't it!

In summary, you can cancel my account as we differ in one thing, I believe in sharing information about a hobby I enjoy, you seem to find pleasure in other things. And, lets face it, if all the "stories" and "rumors" spread on THIS website were true, I don't think I would have had the money to keep or put together the $20,000+ station that I have. Time to use logic, however in America there sure is a shortage of that resource.

Enough said,
Mr. Fetter

Just wondering why a legal issue that occured 6 years ago matters now when the person just posted photos of a setup?

BTW, awesome shack there George!

Also, it wasn't a problem when I posted 5 years ago, and 4 years ago, but now he want's to bring up the issue now. I guess some in the mil air monitoring community must have put a bug up his you know what. Like I said before, if its a problem he is more than welcome to delete my log-in which he didn't do 6 years ago, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 year ago. I very rarely look at this site. Nothing against the site, just I've never had a desire to monitor public safety and that is what the majority of this site is. All this stuff really makes me laugh today. I have my own website and 3 groups with over 3000 members who don't badger me to death.

I just was trying to share photos of a nice, well equipped and functional shack hoping to inspire others to possibly get ideas on how they might improve their operating station. But I guess someone feels threatened.

You really get a better picture of a true person, what they "think" they know, and the lawyer wanna-be's. Sad in someways, but funny in more ways....

If I had the last 7 years to do over again, you know what, I wouldn't have changed a darn thing, it has really made me healthier, wealthier, and wiser! Also I have a better idea that if they media says something, believe the opposite.

Oh, snap!

Yea, and if he was really interested in "protecting the RR community" he should have asked via private email rather than in a public form. Never know what I might say in public. If he was really interested in "protecting the RR community" and he really had a founded fear he would have disabled my account. I know I'm just being "baited" here, but I'll bite.....wasn't an issue 6 years ago or 5, 4, 3, 2, or last year but seems to be now. Go Figure....

I just realized, some flaming posts on some DX clusters came from a TX IP address, I just realize that while I'm here typing. He is in TX.... I gotta dig up my notes on those IP addresses.

Before this thread gets closed for myriad reasons, I just want to point out that there unlikely would have been enough popcorn in the world to get us all through it anyway.

P.S. Drool retracted.

Awesome setup. I've always wanted to set things up that way but I can't stand my monitor up in the air like that and always looking way up to see it.

Who really cares? Like the OP said you should have PM/Email'd the OP, it would have been more professional on your part.

Just my 2 cents.

Great set-up. In the 3rd pic where did you get those blue undershelf lights ?

+1

George,

Are you a convicted felon, yes or no? Don't tell us that the media is out to get you, or that it was all a misunderstanding, or other jibbersh. Just answer the question.

If you can't or won't answer that question, then don't participate around here. It is that simple.

For those of you that are questioning my intentions, I urge you to read through this thread:

http://forums.radioreference.com/military-monitoring-forum/53930-milaircomms-website.html

I am all for giving second chances to those that make mistakes, but this gentleman's issue is well known and legendary. It would be very simple for him to just admit his mistakes, tell us the truth regarding what happened, and move on. He owes it to this community.

I would not have posted my message unless I had a real concern about his participation on these forums. I haven't banned him because I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. But where there is smoke, there is fire.

No, NEVER convicted Felon! And anyone who says different better show some court documents!!!

I still feel this was very unprofessional of you to do this in a public form. This is total crap.

See you all elsewhere.

Already read the thread, still wondering why an issue that occured 6 years ago is an issue now? You say "and move on" but yet, you bring up an issue that happened 6 years ago. Things happen, mistakes happen...move on please.

Great set-up. In the 3rd pic where did you get those blue undershelf lights ?

I had found these light a couple months ago at Lowes Home Improvement.

Shop Cyron Lighting 4-Light Clear Light Bar LED Cabinet Light at Lowes.com

They are neat, it comes with 4 tubes of LEDs, power supply, and controller. With the controller there are about 14 different settings from white light (what is actually in the photo that kind of looks blue) to red, blue, green, purple, and various brightness levels. Great at night time as you can pick something that is easy on the eyes but bright enough to write/read notes. I've always felt that the proper lighting is just as important as the radios because the wrong lighting can make you tired and not want to spend hours infront of the radios. I enjoy contesting so I can find myself in a contest for hours, good lighting is very important.

That was a problem for me as well. So I've experimented with different home built shelves. What you see in the picture actually puts monitor right at eye level for my height and how high my chair is.

Also look for a monitor where you can "bend" the monitor down at a slight angle that also helps. Not 1 size fits all, it take some playing with. But when you hit the right combination of height and angle its very comfortable.

As the owner and operator of this business, I don't need to provide any explanation to you about why this is an issue above and beyond what I posted.

If you took the time to read the thread and info that was posted, you would have a firmer understanding of my position. If you don't agree with my position, then that is your problem not mine.

See you all elsewhere.

I think this is probably the best course of action George. At this point, considering what you sent out on some mailing lists earlier, I think it's best you not participate around here any more.
