For anybody interested (and with a lot of time), the NTSB Board Meeting on the E. Palestine OH derailment is going to be live streamed on Monday, June 25 at 9:30 EDT
here:

From the NTSB description: "During this public meeting, the five NTSB Members will hear presentations from investigators, deliberate over the draft report and vote on the proposed findings, probable cause and safety recommendations. The board will also vote on any changes to the draft final report. An executive summary of the final report will be available after the meeting. The report will be published on the NSTB website several weeks after the meeting."

I plan on it. She doesn't mince words, which is refreshing to see.

I found the earlier "investigation" hearing (see link) much more interesting. Not just for the details of the derailment, but for the behind the scenes look at how the entire mitigation process unfolded from when the first responders arrived until the vent and burn was completed.
