Yes. You can name any agency or talkgroup whatever you like. So, you could edit any of the three lines of info (System, Dept, Channel) in your programming.

I wonder if the SDS200 display software has been updated since the Easier to Read Manual was written? Here are a couple of changes that I have noted with the local NXDN systems near me in Upstate NY:

NEX9 appears if the channel is receiving a 9600 NexEdge system
NEX4D appears if the channel is receiving NXDN 4800 Direct Frequency Assignment *

* Occasionally I see NEX4 (without the D) on the same system. I don't know if there is a technical reason for the display differences. The example DFA system that I am referencing: Mobiletech Communications (NXDN) Trunking System, Various, Multi-State

I'm not sure what you are seeing, my SDS200 shows DMRT3. Are we talking about different things?

Does this also mean that the latest firmware can successfully track a DMR Cap Max DFA system? Will that then somehow be indicated on the display?
