BCD325P2/BCD996P2: NXDN OTA Alias

Can the BCD996P2 decode the NXDN over the air alias? I currently only see unit IDs. I know the BCDHP/SDS can do it.

the 996p2 does indeed decode the alias but it depends upon the user. I monitor a system called brandon communications that rents radios to businesses. Some entites use the alias and others do not. Then some alias are very vague-lol

Good to know. I just checked another system and it seems to be working on both. I did have poor reception and that may have been the cause.

They both work the best when setup as One Frequency Trunking
