I heard my first nxdn4800 frequency today, there is actually 3 different frequencies that I know of. I don't yet know who is broadcasting but I will listen more and find out. Pretty neat finding these different modes of digital signals.

That is where I found them, also found a Dstar frequency on 442.3 Mhz but all it did was scroll, no voice.

Interesting! I wouldn't know DSTAR if I tripped over it. I'll keep an ear for that one...

Also listening presently to 442.625 MHz encrypted and 442.425 Mhz, it sounds like a control channel.

Those are amateur frequencies so it's most likely you're listening to an image of something else.

Check 420-422MHz. It's possible you're listening to the RCMP system.
