Nye County

Recently moved to Nye County, Cant get Nye county public safety on scanner but can on online sources. I have downloaded Nye county system from RR, its running on the scanner but does not recieve radio traffic. Is something missing or changed that isn't on RR website? Using a BCD536HP

I went into the FCC Web Site and noted everything licensed to Nye county for VHF as well as an examination for any frequencies associated with the SNACC system for the Pahrump area. Subsequently, I traveled to Pahrump in April and monitored for a few hours and here are the results.

For the SO on VHF I would suggest programming these for the Pahrump area only: 154.785, 158.955, 158.85, 159.015, and 159.165. Enjoy the trunked radio system. A NAC of 360 appeared during reception. The traffic is also simulcasted on the SNACC system on a Pahrump site using the following frequencies: 851.1000, 851.2000, 851.2750, 851.4500, 851.7750, 851.9250, 852.0500, 852.1000, 852.4500, 852.7750, 852.8000, 852.9750, 853.0500, 853.4500, 853.5000, 853.7375, and 853.9500.

On SNACC the following TGIDs' were active: 1249 S O Dispatch, 1281 PVFD

Might try 460.150 if you are looking for sheriff department - they were just issued a license for that frequency - WPVY662

I hear Nye County once in a while on SNACC. I just think they're not that busy.
