Not sure if related or not to the thread about new radios and repeaters but has anyone had issues recently (today for 73/75 and this past week with 67/71) picking up Brooklyn 73/75 or 67/71? All of a sudden today at 1400 BK 73/75 I started to have issues with reception and have only been picking up sporadic comms, 67/71 I've been having this issue with since last Friday at 1400 as well. Everything else for BK, SI, Manhattan, is coming in loud and clear 5x5 at the site. These are only separated by 0.025MHz so I find it a little odd. May just be my equipment but wanted to check otherwise as well. My equipment's located in the 72nd Precinct on a commercial building with the antenna approx 250' in elevation, and I haven't had this issue in the past three years I've been at this location.

Well what kind of equipment are you using?

Sounds just fine to me on both of those frequencies.

Sounds like I do need to go troubleshoot then, commercial UHF antenna (can’t recall make model off top of my head, but for T-Band), about 200’ of LMR400, Stridsberg powered multicoupler into a Rangecast system of a “couple” Uniden BCD996P2s.

That’s basically all I was looking for if it sounded good to someone else. Thanks!

Wait I can listen to the 73/75 on here?

I’m not a geed provider for Broadcastify/Rangecast so no I don’t believe 73/75 is available here. I’ll DM you though.

Nvm for some reason I can’t message you, if you’d like message me and I can provide some insight :)

From where I live in NJ, the 73/75 has always been one of the worst in terms of reception. Which is too bad considering they are one of my favorite to listen to.

about 200’ of LMR400

200' of LMR400? That long of LMR400 is very lossy at 400Mhz and above. You're looking at 5.4db of loss with just the cable only. That doesn't included the loss of the connectors and going through the multicoupler, and jumpers.
