I logged Accomack VA on the eastern shore CC 771.34375 in North Jersey this AM.

This system has been become a frequent flyer along with many others as the 700 band shows more and more use.

There was a strong inversion as indicated by this LIDAR station in Staten Island.

It seems as though conditions are excellent on the East Coast right now for many bands. I attended the Air Show at Jones Beach on Long Island, NY this past Memorial Day Weekend and I was completely taken aback by the Activity on the 11 Meter Band. EVERY SINGLE CHANNEL had an abundance of activity. It reminded me of the way CB used to be in the 1970's and early 80's. Further, the contacts were from everywhere. Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, the Carolinas, etc. I even heard someone transmitting from the East Coast of Puerto Rico! I assume that the favorable Solar Cycle we are currently in coupled with the Propagation of radio signals over the Ocean made this possible, but it was fascinating to experience it again.
