Another spoonfeedee?

AA9JF,

Is the internet that radically different in Illinois?

Regarding frequencies: http://www.n2nov.net/nypd_ems.html

Regarding radios: http://www.n2nov.net/nypdht.html There is very little distinction between "top brass" and patrolmen when it comes to radios and their channel plans.

Regarding cars for the "top brass" A few samples (in order of rank):
http://www.chevrolet.com/suburban/

http://www.chevrolet.com/tahoe/?seo=yahoo_tahoe

http://www.jeep.com/en/grand_cherokee/index.html

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Crown_Victoria or http://www.chevrolet.com/impala/

I've said it before and I'll say it again....are people totally unaware that there is a comprehensive frequency database on this site?

The RR DB for NYC is messy and I believe is outdated in some places.

Yes, my message board smells great. Smells Like Teen Spirit, in fact.

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend my message board for NYC. In another thread, I posted that n2nov.net is a much better website for NYC scanning than mine. That's why I link to it. The RR DB is a great resource and I thank Lindsay for providing it, but it's outdated in some places. Someone really needs to update and clean up the NYC RR DB.

The NYC portion of the RR Database has a link to n2nov.net on it. I agree, it's the hands down best source of NYC informtation out there.
