NYSP frequency ??

few weeks ago I asked a question about the Pine Planes FD frequency in Dutchess County NY ... I didn't see anything listed... someone came back with a possible frequency that they thought was the FD frequency. It looks like it is not... it looks like it is a NYSP frequency 155.340 some emergency activity this afternoon it showed and it was a police... I say it is a trooper, but not 100% certain ... that said, I cant seem to pin down that frequency... does anyone know if the 155.340 is a NYSP or a different law agency ...
if this is the wrong discussion group I am truly sorry ...(please advise)

I'm not sure why examples from Illinois and New Jersey are being posted when this was a question about New York. 155.340 is listed on the NYS Interoperability page, where it clearly notes the usage statewide.

Pine Plains FD runs ambulances, they were probably radioing to the hospital, 155.340 is a HEAR channel in NY as others have said. It's also used in CT, it's possible you're hearing over the border in Litchfield County who also uses it.

While many agencies are licensed to that in NYS, it is also licensed to NYSP, but in Albany.

That license is specific to the NYSP Aviation Unit. Most likely for Medevac since it is the VHF Med Channels.

That link shows 155.280, 155.400, and 155.340, those are all NYMED/HEAR channels, a lot of agencies are licensed on them.

The FCC ULS shows three hundred licenses for 155.340 in New York alone
