First, where is OakCliff (could be Oakwood, correct me if I'm hearing it wrong) I hear them all the time on 154.13 toning out to some strange things.

Secondly, why doesn't OKC FD mutual aid anyone else? All these little departments have been killing themselves and using up resources fighting wildfires all over the state, but OKC won't help with any of them it doesn't seem like. It really bothers me that they expect others to help them when things get bad, but won't help anyone else. If I was chief of another department and OKC needed help, I'd either not respond at all, or charge them for it, that's what they do.

The OakCliff VFD is just North of Edmond. Oakcliff and Woodcrest do a great job of covering Southern Logan County.

I know the big fire last week out by El Reno heard Command say OKC would not mutual aid. Don't know why though.

May have been because there were fires going on in the metro and they couldn't spare the man power because of coverage issues. I know that there were several fires in the city that week but I don't know for sure about that specific instance. I am sure that there is a reason. I know they have MA'd cities in the metro before.
THANK GOD THE BURN BAN IS OVER!
